With party season and holiday prep in full swing, the end of the year can be a hectic and stressful time. Simple ways to slow down are much in need. Friend of Dohur and Kundalini yoga teacher Kathryn McCusker proposes a soothing “kriya” (breathing exercise) to help get through the season. Kathryn was a professional opera singer before turning to yoga and writing her book “Everyday Kundalini: Yoga, Meditation, Mantras and Breathing to Empower and Transform Your Life”. She teaches at London’s Triyoga, organizes retreats and assists in training teachers in Kundalini yoga worldwide.
